1. General Information

2. Tickets
You must have purchased a ticket to attend any event or apply for event-related add-ons such as carers tickets, digital access passes, or fast pass upgrades.
Non-Refundable: All ticket sales are final. Refunds will only be issued if the event is cancelled by Northern Frights Ltd.
Transfer Policy: Tickets are non-transferable without prior written approval from Northern Frights Ltd.
Age Restrictions: Some events or specific areas may be age-restricted. Please ensure you meet the stated requirements before booking.
Entry Requirements: Every attendee must present a valid ticket (digital or printed) upon entry.
Lost Tickets: We are not responsible for lost, deleted, or stolen tickets. Reissues are not guaranteed.
3. Event Conduct
Respectful Behaviour: All attendees are expected to behave respectfully toward staff, performers, traders, volunteers, and fellow guests. Disruptive or abusive behaviour may result in removal from the event without refund.
Prohibited Items: Real or replica weapons, illegal substances, and items deemed unsafe are prohibited. Bag checks may be conducted at entry points.
Photography & Videography:
- Personal photos and videos are permitted. However, the use of professional photography or video equipment requires prior approval from Northern Frights Ltd.
- Photos taken by our official event photographers may be used for promotional purposes, including social media, website content, press, and advertising materials. By entering the event, you consent to the use of your likeness in these materials. If you have specific concerns, please contact us in advance.
4. Liability
Personal Property: We accept no liability for lost, stolen, or damaged belongings.
Injury or Illness: Attendance and participation in any event activities are at your own risk. We are not responsible for any injury, illness, or medical issues that may arise.
5. Vendor & Performer Agreements
All traders, performers, and contractors must agree to separate terms and conditions outlined during booking. For enquiries, email us.
6. Special Features (e.g. “The Hideout” & Photo Booth)
Fast Pass & Add-Ons: Access to any add-on experiences such as fast pass tickets, photo ops, or scare zones requires a valid ticket to the event. These packages are limited in quantity and subject to availability.
Carers Tickets: Carers or Essential Companion tickets are only available to support full-paying attendees and must be applied for in advance. See our Accessibility Guide for full details.
7. Cancellation Or Changes
Event Cancellation: If Northern Frights Ltd. cancels the event, you will be offered a full refund or a reschedule option.
Right to Modify: We reserve the right to change event elements at any time, including but not limited to schedules, activities, guests, and venue layout.
8. Data Protection
Privacy Policy: We handle your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and data protection laws. By purchasing a ticket, you consent to us contacting you with relevant event information.
Mailing List: You may opt into marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails.
9. Complaints
All complaints should be sent in writing to hello@northernfrights.co.uk.
We aim to respond within 14 days.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Scottish law. Any legal disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of Scottish courts.
