Horror Con Scotland features two dedicated stages, each offering a different experience across the event. From guest panels and contests to live demos, talks, and interactive games, our stages are where the action happens.

The Sanctum Stage (more to be added)
This stage hosts our guest panels, as well as the costume and makeup contests. Hear directly from actors, creators, and special guests as they take part in discussions, Q&As, and audience-focused panels, before the stage transforms for our much-loved contests.
The Grimm-Life Collective
Join The Grimm-Life Collective for a behind-the-scenes look at haunted locations, paranormal history, and the strange places that inspire their work, followed by an audience Q&A.
Costume & Makeup Contest
Finalists take to the Sanctum Stage to showcase their looks before our judges select the prize winners. Expect impressive costumes, detailed makeup, and some truly unforgettable transformations.
True Blood Panel
Carolyn Hennesy and Tara Buck will be joining us for a True Blood panel. Behind-the-scenes storie and a whole lot of vampire nostalgia. If you loved True Blood, you’ll want to be in that room.
The Conclave Stage (more to be added)
This stage is home to live demos, themed talks, and interactive games. Expect practical demonstrations, behind-the-scenes insights, and playful competition
Author John McNee (Prince of Nightmares)
John will present an illuminating talk on cursed objects, delving deep into the haunting stories of their origins, the many lives they have destroyed and their links to the occult. This educational and unsettling experience will expose you to a world of secret treasures and dark forces hidden just beyond our own.
The Brotherhood of Astaroth
Visit the esoteric realm of an ancient demonic cult with Edinburgh Horror Festival sell-out magician Ash Pryce: Paranormal Illusionist. Take part in a dark magick initiation ritual, and learn the secrets of the teachings of Astaroth.
Pactum Obscura
As the event draws to a close, a final gathering takes place. What is revealed is not explained. What is witnessed is not repeated. Those present will understand what has been agreed.
