This April, Horror Con Scotland welcomes Brandon Jay McLaren for his first-ever appearance in Europe, as he joins us on April 11, 2026 at the SEC Glasgow.
Horror fans will recognise Brandon for his role as Dylan Bennett in Slasher, where his performance left a lasting impression on audiences, as well as for his appearance in the cult horror-comedy Tucker and Dale vs. Evil. His work across numerous horror films and television series has made him a familiar face within the genre, blending intensity, charm, and dark humour with ease.
Earlier this year, Brandon starred as Dwayne Andrews in Wayward, which hit number one on Netflix in the US on release. The series introduced him to an even wider audience and showcased his ability to carry complex, character-driven drama.
Beyond horror, Brandon is also well known for his role as Elijah Stone in The Rookie, along with appearances across a range of popular television shows including Ransom, Turner and Hooch, and Snowfall. His diverse screen career spans genres from crime drama to action and thriller, highlighting his versatility as an actor.
