We’re excited to announce that Tara Buck will be joining us at Horror Con Scotland on April 11, 2026, at the SEC Glasgow.
Tara is best known to horror fans as Ginger from HBO’s True Blood. What began as a season-one guest appearance quickly turned into one of the show’s most beloved characters, with Tara appearing across all seven seasons. Ginger’s chaotic energy, dark humour, and unforgettable moments made her a standout in the series and cemented Tara as a fan favourite within the True Blood universe.
Her work in horror extends beyond vampires. Tara has appeared in the unsettling horror film At the Devil’s Door and the psychological thriller Noise in the Middle, showcasing her ability to move seamlessly between supernatural horror and intense, character-driven suspense. Her performances consistently bring depth and unpredictability to darker roles.
Outside of horror, Tara’s television career is extensive and impressive. She has appeared in guest roles on major series including Bones, The X-Files, Criminal Minds, Justified, Cold Case, Nip Tuck, The Shield, Southland, The Closer, and Bloodline. She also had a recurring role on Showtime’s Ray Donovan during seasons four and five, further highlighting her range across crime drama, thriller, and character-led storytelling.
