Hosted by the infamous "The Family," a killer who never goes anywhere without his relatives . This game show blends dark humor, spooky challenges, and just the right amount of gross to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Five brave contestants will go head-to-head in a series of creepy challenges, including horror trivia, taste tests, and other spine-chilling surprises. Win over "The Family" and their... ahem... unique approval, and you’ll take home a killer prize! Fail, and, well, let’s just say you’ll never look at "family" the same way again.

How to Enter as a Contestant

Think you’ve got what it takes to impress "The Family" and survive their gruesome games? Here’s how you can grab one of the five coveted contestant spots in Family Splatters:

Complete the official Family Splatters application form below. Tell us a little about yourself and why you think you’d be the perfect addition to The Family.


Submit a 30-Second Video
Along with your application, upload a short, 30-second video explaining why you’re dying to join The Family. Whether it’s your love of horror, your quirky personality, or your knack for the theatrical, show us what makes you a standout contestant.

Terms & Conditions: Family Splatters Contestant Entry

  • All participants must be 18 years or older to apply.

  • Closing Date - March 12, 2025

  • Contestants must hold a valid ticket to Horror Con Scotland to participate.

  • Videos submitted as part of the application process may be shared on our social media platforms or other marketing materials.

  • Contestants must be available at the event 30 minutes before the game show starts to confirm their participation.

  • Submitting an application does not guarantee selection as a contestant. Only five contestants will be chosen based on creativity, enthusiasm, and suitability for the game show.

  • By applying, you consent to being filmed and/or photographed during the event.

  • All decisions made by the event organisers and the host ("The Family") are final.
